This position's daily responsibilities include managing drivers, oversee customer deliveries along with tracking equipment.

Essential Functions

Assess customer needs and timing of deliveries
Manage daily delivery schedule for drivers
Lead and mentor dispatching staff
Plan deliveries to inventory-managed retail gas outlets
Communicate with shippers and 3PL's
Provide frontline customer service for existing accounts
Answer all incoming phone calls promptly and courteously
Monitor e-mail for incoming orders, customer request and communication between team members
Monitor web portals and input necessary information
Using TMW Dispatch system
Daily tracking of all chemical trailers
Divide dispatch responsibilities with other team members
Work in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

High school diploma or equivalent; Bachelor Degree preferred
Minimum 3 years of dispatching experience
Excellent conflict resolution and skills
Effective oral, written and interpersonal communication skills
Knowledge and ability to use Word and Excel
